General contractual conditions for the company Ticino Fishing Guides
- Participants must pay a deposit equal to 50% of the expense at the time of reservation. The remaining 50% must be paid at the end of the fishing day(s). Depending on the circumstances, the organizer may in any case at any time require advance payment of other expenses and/or parts of the total expense, which will serve as a deposit for them.
- Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by the guide and must wear appropriate equipment for the fishing activity at all times.
- If necessary, the guide will provide all necessary fishing equipment, including rods, reels, bait and tackle, at the rates described on the company's website.
- Participants must be ready at the agreed place and time for the departure of the fishing day. Should participants be more than 30 minutes late, the trip may be cancelled or rescheduled at the guide's discretion. In such a case, the organizer will in any case have the right to retain from the advance payment the expenses incurred in organizing that day's trip.
- The guide reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the outing due to bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the guide will provide a full refund or reschedule upon the client's consent the outing for a later date.
- Participants may cancel the field trip three days before the scheduled day without penalty. Cancellations made with less than 3 days notice from the agreed upon day will result in the loss of the entire deposit (see item 1).
- Participants may reschedule the trip up to three days before the scheduled start time without penalty. Rescheduling made less than 3 days in advance of the agreed upon day may result in a rescheduling fee of up to 50% of the total cost of the trip.
- Participants must comply with all fishing regulations and guidelines established by the guidebook and cantonal and federal laws.
- Participants are responsible for any damage caused by negligence to the fishing equipment provided by the guide
- Participants are required to have private liability insurance to cover property damage or personal injury.
- Participants must have personal accident insurance; all personal injuries not caused directly by the activity are not covered by the company's insurance.
- For any disputes arising from the relations established between the parties, the Court of Mendrisio has jurisdiction and Swiss law is applicable.
By booking an excursion with Ticino Fishing Guide, the general conditions and cancellation policy described above are accepted.
